Devon based chartered accountants, Thomas Westcott have smashed their fund raising total for the South West MS Centre at their recent annual Charity Golf day event held at Woodbury Park Golf and Country Club.
Thomas Westcott has been organising the annual charity event for seven years. With players from across the region, the support of sponsors and guests helped raise £4,500 on the day, breaking all records from previous events, and bringing the total raised to £25,000!
An incredible twenty six teams of four participated, with the day comprising of two team competitions including the infamous Yellow Ball competition and a variety of individual hole prizes, followed by a gala dinner and a prize auction.
This year's winning team of the South West MS Centre trophy was captained by Graham Howe from the Pavey Group, with a resounding score of ninety six points! The winning team members included Graham Howe and Jonathan Cox of the Pavey Group and their guests Dominic Hollingsworth and Matthew Scott-Tucker of Kitsons LLP.

The Pavey Group were followed closely by the Fix Auto Mid Devon team captained by one of their directors, Kevin Woolacott.

In third place were CAP Ceilings and Partitions, captained by Kevin Smith.
For the second year in a row, the Thomas Westcott trophy went to the team captained by Brian Sidney, a long term supporter of the charity.

John Potter, Partner at Thomas Westcott said "I am thrilled that our annual Charity Golf day continues to be a huge success and I am delighted with the sum raised this year. The continuous support of all our sponsors and players has been phenomenal and greatly appreciated. Our event next year will be taking place on Tuesday the 2nd of October and we look forward to raising further funds for the SWMS Centre."
