Thomas Westcott are committed to an inclusive culture that celebrates diversity, provides equitable employment outcomes, and empowers all of us to realise our collective and individual potential.

With over 250 team members who bring their own uniqueness, we inspire to create a diverse firm where we are sociocultural and the aim is for our workforce to be truly representative of all sections of society and our clients, and for each employee to develop and feel respected and able to give their best.

Our most recent diversity monitoring told us that:

  • 65% of the team are female;
  • 5% of the team consider themselves to have a disability according to the definition in the Equality Act;
  • 3% of the team preferred not to indicate their sexual orientation whilst others reported 2% Bisexual, 2% Gay man, 1% Gay woman and  92% Heterosexual / straight;
  • Our team members have a varied educational background with 20% having a degree, 27% with at least one A Level, 23% with GCSE’s, 26% with no formal qualifications and 4% who didn’t wish to say.

Our Firm is committed to creating a work environment free of harassment, bullying, victimisation and unlawful discrimination, by promoting all principles of dignity, equality, diversity and fairness for all and bring this to life through our firm values of Respect, Trust and Teamwork, where individual differences and the contributions of all staff are recognised and valued.
