John is a Partner based in our Weston-super-Mare office. He was Managing Partner of Butterworth Jones before that practice merged with Thomas Westcott in 2015.

John became a partner in 1984 which gives him a wealth of experience. He focuses on advising high net worth individuals and also family and owner managed businesses. Some of his larger clients are corporate entities with turnovers up to £40 million. He has a particular interest in advising solicitors and clients in the care sector.

John is a motorsports enthusiast and keen golfer and currently acts as Treasurer of The Somerset Golf Union. John and his wife also enjoy travelling.
