There are many other options for you and an Apprenticeship in Accountancy is a great way to begin your career in accountancy without all the student debt which comes with a three year university degree.
An Apprenticeship in Accountancy will allow you to study towards a professional qualification while you gain vital life and work skills and earn a wage.
The AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) is a professional qualification which can help you have a rewarding career in accountancy and is achieved by on the job training, in work structured study time plus study time in your own time at home, tutor support and staff mentoring which all helps you to pass the AAT exams and complete the computer based projects and assessments. We work closely with our training provider to ensure the program suits the needs of our students and many of our students achieve 100% first time passes and all our students achieve the full qualification.
Thomas Westcott will not only offer you support and mentoring throughout your training, but we will also fund the training, pay you your normal salary on the days you are studying in the office and give you paid study leave to attend exams.
The qualification typically takes 2 to 3 years to complete, during which you will have regular pay reviews (annually and at the end of each level) and there is even a bonus available for students who pass all exams first time at each level.
