The Farming Investment Fund has now been launched with £27 million available to farmers, growers, foresters and contractors related to these sectors. The funding scheme is in place to help those in these sectors to invest in items to help them improve productivity and enhance the natural environment.

How to apply
The applications window is open until Midday 07 January 2022 and are made through the FETF Application Portal. Applicants must be registered with the Rural Payments Agency. The deadline upon a successful agreement to purchase, pay, install and claim is 30 September 2022.
Farming Transformation Fund
The Farming Transformation Fund is for larger projects. Currently, only the Water Management grant is available under this element of the scheme. The Improving Farm productivity element is planned to open later this year with more information to be released by Defra and the Adding Value grant element will launch early next year with Defra to release information nearer the launch date.
