We are pleased to announce that on 1 July 2022, Thomas Westcott converted to a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP). We feel this new legal entity status protects the firm’s sustainability in the future and so is the best structure for us and our clients going forward.

What is an LLP?

A Limited Liability Partnership is a preferred and common corporate structure for professional services and accounting firms such as ours – LLP offers the benefits of a limited liability company, but at the same time provides the traditional partnership structure, that we think is best for our firm.

The LLP fits with our modern and forward-thinking business model for the future, and as a separate entity from individual partners.

Does it change anything for our clients?

It’s very much business as usual as far as we are concerned – apart from the change to the formal legal status of our firm, there are no changes to the structure of the business or the way in which we operate.

We will continue to offer the same exceptional service; in the same friendly way our clients have come to expect. Our 17 offices and partners remain unchanged, and we can still be contacted in the usual way. We’re still here to support our clients personal or business needs, no matter what their requirements.

For more detailed information, our partners are available in your local office to answer any questions you might have.
