At Thomas Westcott we have an experienced audit team who are involved in all of our significant corporate and not for profit audit clients.
Over the next few months we would like to introduce you to the core team of eight who are supported by an audit team of twenty across the practice who are able to provide a tailored audit which reviews the financial risks that a business is facing.
Each audit is very much partner-led and we work closely with our clients to fully understand their business so that we can provide an effective and efficient audit.
The first two core team members we would like to introduce you to are Shona Godefroy and Dave Cresswell:
Shona Godefroy FCCA, Partner: Head of Audit
Shona heads up the audit and assurance side of the practice covering all of our offices and is involved with all of our significant corporate and charity audit clients.
With over 25 years of audit experience, she has headed up audits of regional, national and international corporate and charitable organisations.
She has a detailed knowledge of UK and International Accounting Standards, corporate governance, charity SORP, all aspects of financial reporting, and the systems required to support a successful business.
David Cresswell ACA: Director
David manages a portfolio of clients which include charitable and not for profit organisations and corporations. David manages a large amount of the significant corporate and charity audits across the firm.
David has a strong understanding of charitable organisations and corporate entities, as well as a detailed knowledge of the current UK accounting standards, including FRS 102.
