Things went with a swing at our annual charity golf day which saw £6,354 – a record amount – raised for the South West MS Centre in Exeter.

We once again held the popular event at Teignmouth Golf Club where teams from some of the region’s leading businesses competed against each other whilst raising money for a great cause.

The final total of £6,354 – a thousand pounds more than last year – was raised through entry fees, golf-themed activities, a raffle and an auction.

We can’t thank enough everyone who helped on the day and of course those who participated to make it such a success, particularly Steve Cresswell who led the team organising everything.

Year after year we’ve seen wonderful support for our golf day and we’re all very grateful to all the clients and professional contacts who gave up their valuable time to support the event and, more importantly, the good work of the MS Centre.

Congratulations to our very own Thomas Westcott team for placing 1st, 2nd place were Trowers & Hamlins and in 3rd place the Kitsons/ Pavey team. Other winners for the individual przies include Hannah Armstrong, Simon House and Nick Skelhorn.

In the last three years alone our charity golf days have raised almost £16,000 for the centre which provides essential services and therapies to those in need, and which relies on charitable donations to stay open.
