A huge thank you to everyone who attended our special nautical-themed charity ball held near Weston-super-Mare which raised just over £8,000 on the night.

Many of the county’s leading businesses turned out to “join us at the Captain’s table” at the black-tie event which he held in the stunning surroundings of Batch Country House, Lympsham.

It was the third charity ball organised by our Weston-super-Mare based team, led by partner Di Perrett, and takes the total amount raised for local good causes to over £33,000!

All proceeds from the night, which were raised through activities such as an auction, casino and live music, will now be donated to charities including BRACE and Children’s Hospice South West.

BRACE, based in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, is an independent charity which raises money to fund research into dementia.

Children’s Hospice South West provides care and respite for the families of children with life-limiting conditions.

Through our work advising charities we know only too well how much these organisations depend on donations in order to keep delivering the vital services they provide, so everyone’s support in making the event a success is hugely appreciated.

It was a truly memorable evening for everyone involved and, more importantly, we managed to raise thousands of pounds for some very deserving causes.
