After a year of fund-raising, including participating in events including sky-dives, fun runs and bake-offs, our Plymouth office raised over £5,000 for children’s charity Jeremiah’s Journey.
The team took part in the charity’s “20/20 challenge” which saw seven of Plymouth’s leading business compete to see who could raise the most money for Jeremiah’s Journey, which provides support to children experiencing grief and loss.
Overall the seven teams raised £22,000 – a full £2,000 more than the charity’s target – with our own Plymouth team finishing top of the leader board with an amazing £5,071 raised.
As well as being a fantastic charity event, the challenge has forged strong bonds between Jeremiah’s Journey and Plymouth’s business community, which is superb for raising the cause’s profile and helping them with their vital work in the community.
Special thanks to Clare Green who co-ordinated the fund-raising activities from the Plymouth office, and to the wider team who dedicated many hours of their own time to make the fund-raising such a success.
