Our newly-launched Corporate Finance service is celebrating after advising on a major deal that saw Ivybridge-based Fairford Electronics sold to US-Korea joint venture Motortronics.
Acting on behalf of Motortronics, a worldwide leading manufacturing group specialising in solid state AC motor controls and motor protection products, Alison Watts (pictured right), head of our Corporate Finance team, carried out the crucial financial due diligence work before the contracts could be signed and the deal put through.
Alison worked in close collaboration with Plymouth-based Nash & Co Solicitors who looked after the legal side including the acquisition documents.
Not only is this exciting news for the South West, showing that internationally-recognised, market-leading companies want to do business here, it also shows that our region has the skilled, experienced and trusted professionals to get a deal like this safely over the line for the benefit of all parties.
As well as providing financial due diligence, we also deliver a spectrum of Corporate Finance services, including:
• Purchase or sale of businesses, including valuations, deals and negotiations
• Tax support on corporate finance transactions
• Financial modelling
• Management buy-outs or buy-in
• Share structure
• Business strategy development
We act for a range of clients across many diverse sectors, including privately owned businesses, management teams and business owners, with our hands-on approach supporting you throughout the entire process.
