Newly promoted Director, Mandy French takes part in this month's Q & A.
What is your role at Thomas Westcott?
As a Director, I provide a range of accounting and taxation services to a wide variety of clients including personal tax clients, sole traders, partnerships, companies and not for profit organisations.
How long have you worked here?
I joined Thomas Westcott in August 1994 as a Trainee Accounting Technician.
What do you like about working in the Tiverton and Honiton offices?
I like the fact that they are both small market towns with a wide range of independent retailers and businesses, with plenty of coffee shops to try each week!
What do you like to do outside of work?
I enjoy watching my children play sports, I also like to play netball and regularly go spinning.
If you were stranded on a desert island what three items would you take with you?
My husband for company and he’s very practical, a fully loaded kindle as I never get chance to read at home and my slippers!
Do you have any hidden talents?
Although I haven’t tried for the last 15 years, I can play the cello.
What do you enjoy most about working at Thomas Westcott?
I love the variety of the work and that it’s different each day. I enjoy meeting with clients and getting to know their businesses. It also helps that
my colleagues in Tiverton and Honiton are lovely people to work with and make each day enjoyable.
