The RPA have now opened the last round of Small Productivity Grants. The specified eligible equipment covers areas of improvements in:
• technical efficiency
• animal health and welfare
• resource efficiency or
• nutrient management
The closing date for applications is midday 04 November 2020 with the completion (including submitting the claim) of the project by 31 March 2021.
How much funding is available?
The amount of funding on offer is 40% of the standard costs specified by the RPA in the Handbook for round 3 (Cornwall and Isle of Scilly 50%). The minimum grant claim is £3,000 (total spend £7,500) with a maximum of £12,000 (total spend £30,000).
This scheme is open to all farmers
If you claimed in either round 1 or 2, you may be eligible to claim in round 3. If you claimed between £3,000 to £9,000 then you can apply in this final round or if you withdrew from a previous round. If you claimed over £9,000 then you are ineligible for this round.
